That’s 2019 all boxed up…

But before we go ahead and lift the lid on 2020, we wanted to take a moment to both celebrate and reflect on everything that has been achieved in the last few months.

December has always been a particularly busy time, and this year has been no different. In fact, we’re pleased to announce that 2019 was our busiest festive period ever! This comes after a progressive year of new machinery investments, expanded warehouse space and additional members being added to our growing team.

As a result, we’re happy to confirm that we were more than able to meet demands during the lead up to Christmas — designing, developing and shipping packaging solutions for our broad range of clients nationwide. Not even Santa himself, with his cohort of helper elves, could have pulled off such a momentous feat of logistics and customer service!

Speaking of our customers…

We want to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. We’d also like to thank each and every one of you for an amazing 2019 — and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

We’ve got lots of exciting developments lined up for 2020 — not least of all the transformation of our production floor. This has been in the works for a while now and will see some of our older machines relocated or replaced to make room for our newly acquired Topra GD Flexo Folder Gluer machine. There’s a lot of equipment to move around, and we’re expected to be fully up and running by January 7th, while the new machine itself will provide higher print quality and has greater operating and production speeds, meaning reduced lead times and, consequently, faster turnarounds.

For us, this new machine is another in a long line of equipment upgrades we’ve made this year, investing close to £900,000 in new plant machinery. First-class equipment means better production quality and greatly enhances our ability to meet the needs of customers efficiently and in a timely manner.

And while we continue to invest in new innovations and technologies, it’s certainly the people that lie at the heart of our successes we’re most proud of. So to all our Operations staff, sales coordinators, designers, suppliers, and support teams, we’d also like to say Thank You, and we hope you all have a fantastic Christmas!

In the meantime, we want to remind all our customers that we close on December 24th and will be back in the office on January 2nd. If you need to get in touch during this time, we will have a dedicated team to handle all calls and emails.
