When quoting we work to internal dimensions, therefore the external measurements of your product are required. We then add appropriate allowances dependent on the style and board grade of the box to then ensure a snug and protective fit around the product. Measure the length, width and depth (or height) of the item you would like to pack and express the measurements in millimetres.
Yes, we do hold stock for specific customer orders and specifications. However, we do not hold off the shelf stock boxes.
Our optimum quantities are between 100 and 20,000. BUT please don’t be hesitant to request more or less as we may always be able to accommodate?
Yes, can we provide digital print and in house flexographic printing on all packaging. Flexography (often abbreviated to Flexo) is a form of printing process which utilises a flexible relief plate to transfer ink from the plate to a material. It is essentially a modern version of letterpress or spud printing. Digital print provides a high-quality finish, with no tooling required. You can also modify and amend the print between orders.
A print card is a document we produce to illustrate the print the customer has requested. Once this has been approved from the customer, it is this document that is sent away to the stereo makers to produce the tool to re-create the print for the document onto the box
FEFCO is the European Federation of Corrugated Board manufacturers. FEFCO codes/box styles are an internationally recognised system to substitute long and complicated descriptions of box and packaging constructions with simple codes which are understood by all.
Our lead times vary on the box style, process, machine capacity and the availability of materials. Our lead times are typically are 5-7 working days
Yes, the delivery costs are included in the price we provide on the quotes, UNLESS stated otherwise.
We typically deliver to anywhere within a 100 miles radius of Chesterfield, in our own fleet of vehicles. But we can happily deliver outside of this by arrangement.
Yes, we provide the first sample free of charge upon request, on any given project. When the products are die-cut, we will always sample the product for approval, as extra tooling cost are required for die-cut jobs. And the last thing we want to do is order a tool, and it be wrong and incur additional costs.
